Our Take On The 28 Years Later Poster

Does The Movie Need Murphy To Succeed?

The suggestion that Murphy won’t play a large role in the28 Years Laterstory could be a disappointing one for long-time franchise fans, especially given Murphy’s recent rise to fame with his starring role in thecast ofOppenheimer, for which he won an Oscar. The rest of the film’s cast, however, is impressive, and it’s entirely possible that the movie will succeed despite potentially limited screen time from Murphy.

The release of the28 Years Laterposter could signal that an official trailer or teaser trailer is coming soon. The film’s release date is set for July 27, 2025, and marketing does tend to pick up for movies about six months before release. Hopefully, the promotional materials to come provide a better idea of what to expect from the28 Years Laterstory and Murphy’s involvement in the project.
