LEGO’s new ARC-170 is the first minifigure-sized model of the classic starfighter since 2010. Featuring 500 pieces and 4 minifigures, this new iteration looks to be somewhat smaller than the OG ARC-170. However, it also looks to be denser with more detail with a greater piece-count. As such, it certainly looks to be a very exciting update that’s worth the $70 price tag.

I’ve Changed My Mind, I Don’t Think LEGO’s New Star Wars ARC-170 Starfighter Is Too Pricey After All

After I went back and looked at LEGO’s older Star Wars models, I no longer think 2025’s ARC-170 Starfighter is too expensive in comparison.

Admiral Ackbar’s flagship from the original trilogy, the Rebellion’s modified MC80A Heavy Star Cruiser debuted duringReturn of the Jedi’sBattle of Endor. It’s very exciting to see the large capital ship receiving its own midi-scale model, just like the Republic Acclamator. Likewise, there’s even a small medical frigate to help show offHome One’simpressive scale as well.
