While everyone is excited over the recent release ofWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2,PlayStation 5 users will seemingly finally have a chance to experience the brutal action ofWarhammer 40,000: Darktide. The co-op shooter, which was released at the end of 2022 on PC before coming to Xbox Series X|S in late 2023, has earned a reputation for its visceral combat and fun character archetypes. While PlayStation fans have had to sit on the sidelines and watch as everyone else had fun slaughtering hordes of sci-fi monstrosities, that’s about to change.

Aside from the existence of the rating, nothing else is known about the alleged game but if the leak turns out to be accurate, Fat Shark could announce it in the next few weeks. As with all reports of this nature, it’s recommended that fans take it with a grain of salt, butit’s worth remembering that ratings leaks often turn out to be accurate.

While the story isn’t much by itself,Darktideis a game that champions mechanics over narratives as squads face down thousands of enemies to reach their goal andgain some powerful upgrades. Each class plays very differently, incentivizing teams to take a varied composition into each mission to stand a better chance of success. Havinga Psyker and a Veteran worktogether is much more efficient than simply bringing the same class, althougha squad of Ogryn characters is also extremely fun.
