What Does The New Arcane Trailer Reveal?
There’s a lot to unpack in this newArcaneseason 2 trailer. With voiceovers from Silco (Jason Spisak) and Vander (JB Blanc), two prominent figures in Jinx and Violet’s development, rumors of their return in season 2 snowball. Regarding Silco,Spisak has confirmed that the antagonist will return in the final episodes. Little is known as to how he’ll return, but he’ll most likely appear in Jinx’s hallucinations, as it’s already been established that she experiences hallucinations that feature people she’s killed. The addition of Silco’s ghost will no doubt add to her condition, which festers in season 2.
Arcane’smost compelling storyline, however, is the strife between sisters Vi and Jinx, and this trailer reinforces that the bond is withering, with Jinx becoming a pseudo-messianic figure for Zaun and Vi being determined to stop her.

As for Vander, there’s a lot of speculation that he is Warwick. A brief moment inthe trailer teases more clips of a new hellborn creation that resembles Warwick, but its origin remains shrouded in mystery and will probably remain so until the final episodes drop. Ultimately, the preview of Silco and Vander’s dialogue seemingly hints at bigger events involving both.Arcane’smost compelling storyline, however, is the strife between sisters Vi and Jinx, and this trailer reinforces that the bond is withering, with Jinx becoming a pseudo-messianic figure for Zaun and Vi being determined to stop her.
Our Take On The New Trailer
With her emotional complexity and chaotic demeanor, Jinx is easily my favoritecharacter inArcane. Her character arc and sibling rivalry with Vi are undoubtedly compelling, and her condition is handled aptly by the series’ creative team. Silco’s return, while still hidden in shadow, will no doubt complicate her internal conflicts, making for an even more captivating character development.
The new trailer reinforces that Jinx is past redemptionand promises more enmity between her and her sister. Her rise in Zaun seems like the catalyst of a revolution and war between the underground and Piltover and a recipe for an emotionally enthralling and excruciating end toArcane.
