Astro Botis a loving tribute to the long and storied history of the PlayStation brand, and it simply wouldn’t be complete without dressing up. At the Crash Site, players can unlock the Changing Room which allows Astro to change into one of 20 different custom Outfits. Many of these Outfits are homages to PlayStation icons both new and old.
Astro Bot is packed with fun referencesand Easter eggs, and players will notice that the game actually features some homages in its cosmetic customization. The Changing Room isn’t unlocked automatically; instead, players need to carefully explore each of the game’s levels to collect Puzzle Pieces. With enough Puzzle Pieces, the Changing Room can be unlocked at the Crash Site.

How To Unlock The Changing Room In Astro Bot
Access Astro’s Hidden Wardrobe Of Costumes
To unlock the Changing Room, players must collect 48 Puzzle Pieces. All ofAstro Bot’sworldsare divided into smaller levels, and most have around three Puzzle Pieces hidden behind puzzles or secret walls. As such, finding them involves paying close attention to a level’s layout and structure in order to spot things that appear out of place.
One of the best ways I found to get new Puzzle Pieces quickly was to explore the Crash Site itself. Although this area is essentially a home base for Astro, it is also a level in its own right with hidden bots and Puzzle Pieces. However, to collect Puzzle Pieces in the Crash Site, players will need to rescue enough bots from other stages in order to access them.

Players should be able to collect 48 Puzzle Pieces by completing the Gorilla Nebula, Tentacle System, and Serpent Starway stages. There are a total of 48 Puzzle Pieces in these three stages, and coupled with some exploration of the Crash Site, it’s fairly easy to get the required amount.
How To Unlock Every Hidden Level In Astro Bot (Tentacle System)
The Tentacle System has seven hidden levels, which need to be crashed into to unlock them, before completing to rescue all of the bots in Astro Bot.
With enough Puzzle Pieces, the Changing Room will pop up and become accessible near the center of the Crash Site. However, even with the Changing Room unlocked, Astro still needs to find Outfits to change into.

The Gatcha Lab is one of the first parts of the Crash Site players unlock, and each pull produces a single prize item. Prizes are usually add-on accessories for the Bots that players can rescue throughout the game: usually weapons or equipment for iconic PlayStation characters. These will then appear alongside their associated character at various locations around the Crash Site.
If you want a closer look at each of the Outfits in-game, check out the video above fromWoW Quests on YouTube.
Each draw (or pull) from the Gatcha Lab requires 100 Coins. There are 169 different Prizes to be won but the Lab also occasionally dispenses empty cans, which serve no purpose, so you won’t always get a prize for your Coins. As such, unlocking the Changing Room and collecting all of the Outfits for Astro is a rather tall order. Players will need to be thorough while exploringAstro Bot’svarious stages, levels, and hidden places.
