Atomfallis the type of RPG that makes you question yourself, mostly because of the choices you need to make during quests that don’t have clear consequences. While there are a surprising number of choices where the only downside is missing out on an upgrade or benefit, there are also choices that can lock you out of endings or quests. As a result, you might feel uncertain about what you should do when presented with choices, and it’s unclear what outcomes they might have.
You’llcome across multiple leads inAtomfallthat can take you to Mother Jago. A few NPCs will send you her way, and so will the Hearing Voices lead.If you don’t end up with those leads, you can also seek her out by heading to her location, or find the leaflets around Casterfell Woods to get her location marked on your map. No matter which lead you end up with—or if you bypass leads to reach her all together—you’ll be sent to the same location: theOld Mine in Casterfell Woods.

What Happens If You Give Mother Jago The Serum
The Secret Of The Growth Stimulant
The serum that Mother Jago wants you to bring her is a Growth Stimulant that requires you to go to the Medical Wing in the Interchange. As for the actual serum and the decision to give it to her once you have it, there aren’t any downsides to handing it over. It’s not an item that you’ll get much use from if you decide to keep it for yourself anyway. So,you’re encouraged to hand over the serum, which keeps the possibility of going for her ending open to you.
All Hidden Achievements In Atomfall
Along with the normal goals of Atomfall, you may unlock several hidden achievements tied to multiple endings, rare choices, and other milestones.
At this point in her quest, you’re still in the section where helping her doesn’t lock you into her ending yet.Because of that, helping her at this point also doesn’t lock you out of other quests, which can happen easier than you might believe at first. If you consider the number of possible endings and know how to start them, you’ll see why you end up locking quests at various points.

What Happens If You Don’t Give Mother Jago The Serum
Locking Future Content
If you decide not to give Mother Jago the serum, then you’reunable to continue her quests. SinceMother Jago’s quests inAtomfallaren’t required to beat the game, it’s a viable option to decide that you don’t want to continue and end her line there. However, even giving her the serum doesn’t mean you need to continue her quests. It just keeps the option open for you if you decide to learn more about the Lake District through her requests.
You also need to do Mother Jago’s quests up to a certain point anyway to survive.

Otherwise, you lock yourself out of Mother Jago’s ending by putting yourself in a situation where you may’t continue her quests. You also need to do Mother Jago’s quests up to a certain point anyway to survive powering up Data Center A in the Interchange when you can reach it andhave an atomic battery inAtomfallthat you can use there. Again, you don’t need to go far enough to lock in her ending, but you still need her help regardless of which ending you want to pursue.
You Should Give Mother Jago The Growth Stimulant
There’s No Downside
In the end, you should give the Growth Stimulant to Mother Jago. It’s early enough in her quests that you don’t need to worry about locking yourself out of other options, but it also gives you the chance to return and pursue her full line of quests if you want her ending. Additionally, her quests give you a unique perspective of the situation that led to the downfall of the Interchange. So, if you’re interested in extra lore, you definitely want to keep helping Mother Jago.
Atomfall: Should You Inject Yourself With Dr. Holder’s Inoculation?
When you meet Dr. Holder, if you decide to follow the leads to him, he offers you a dose of his inoculation, but should you accept that shot?
You can even multitask by visiting Dr. Holder before you get the Growth Stimulant, because he also wants an item from the Interchange’s Medical Wing, and he gives you his keycard so you can access deeper areas than you could with your initial keycard. If you’re going to explore the areas anyway, there’s no harm in grabbing items for quests that won’t even lock you out of content.

You’ll make a fair number of decisions during your time in the Lake District, and giving Mother Jago the serum is one that you don’t need to worry about, as there’s no drawback to handing it over. This also lets you get her ending, which provides unique information about the zone. Otherwise, you could make a save file and return later if you’re working towards seeing every ending inAtomfall.
