In order to clear the Valley of all Night Mite infestations inDisney Dreamlight Valley, you will need to take on thechallengeof finding all of them. You will need to do a fair amount of legwork just to start the quest, in addition to the challenge itself. However, you willalso get a fair amount of rewards, making all that effort well worth it in the end.
First, you will have to haveunlocked Timon and Pumbaa inDisney Dreamlight Valley, before also leveling them up toFriendship Level 10. You will also have to have finishedThe Rememberedmain story quest so thatyou can access the Dark Castle. There are also a number of Villagers that you will need to have in the Valley, such as Prince Eric, WALL-E, Daisy Duck, Mike Wazowski, Sulley, and Jack Skellington.

Each Infestation Quest & Where To Find Them
To kick off the storyline that is part of theJungle Getaway Update, you will need to catch a Night Mite (by interacting with them)after Timon and Pumbaa are at Level 10 Friendship. You can then bring the Night Mite to Merlin, and the quest will then begin automatically. There arefour main parts to the Infestation Quest, and each one will pick up right when you complete the previous one.
New Disney Dreamlight Valley Feature Is A Complete Game-Changer
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s most recent update, the Jungle Update, adds plenty of new and exciting features, but one is a total game-changer.
Once you have kicked the quest off, you will beheading for The Plaza.
The Infestation Part 1 - The Plaza
The first location you will have to clear of Night Mites isThe Plazaitself, which players are familiar with from the very beginning. You will beasked to find each Night Mite and follow them to their Nest. They are in the following locations:

When you first find the Nest, you willbe unable to use your magic on itor remove it. You will have to create aDreamlight Boost Tonicin order to get rid of it, using the following ingredients at a cooking station:

Secret Chamber in Frosted Heights (Olaf trapped location)
Sugarcane
Dazzle Beach
You will then have to makeNight Mite Wingsand put them on,wearing purple or blackfor the rest of your clothing.

After that, you will beable to remove the Nestand move on to the next section.
The Infestation Pt. 2 - Peaceful Meadow, Glade of Trust, & Dazzle Beach
The second part of this quest willhave you listening to Pumbaawho tells you about an Infestation in other parts of the Valley. There aresix total Neststo clear:
Behind Mother Gothel’s Giant Willow
Glade of Trust
Additionally, you will need to keep an eye out for thetwo Mega Night Mitesthat belong with each Nest. These may seem hard to find, asthey are prone to wander, but you should be able to find them fairly easy once you know the trick.
To find the loose Mega Night Mites,stand by the Nests. They will always return to their Nest, so you just have to wait for them to come back.
Timon will thensend you to clear out Prince Eric’s Castle. There are three Night Mites inside, but they are not in any guaranteed location. you may, however, bring a larger Villager with you so that when you do spot them they have a harder time getting away. If you want an idea of where these might be, see YouTuberQuick Tips’ video, although keep in mind that thebugs do move around in a general area.
You will be told that there are more Night Mites inside, sogo the Eric’s living room and interact with the barrelin the back corner. This willrelease three more Night Mitesinto the house, and you should clear them out as well. Once you do, you will have to check on a few other Villagers.
The Infestation Pt. 2 - Villager Houses
There arefour more housesto check and clear, which you can see below. Notably,each house has three Night Mites.
Once you get toJack Skellington’s House, hewill insist there are no bugs inside, but check under the suspicious blanket and you will find a Night Mite Nest. Clear it and the three Night Mites andyou will be able to talk to Pumbaaand move to the next part of the quest.
The Infestation Pt. 3 - The Dark Castle
The next part of the quest willsend you into The Dark Castle. There are a total offive Night Mite Nestsand ten loose Night Mites. Here are all of the Nest locations:
Again,each Nest has two loose Night Mitesthat you simply have to wait for. It might be a long and fruitless search if you choose to go looking, rather than wait for them to return to the Nest. However,if you are able to spot them, feel free to go after them.

Dark Castle’s Long Balcony
Having cleared the main infestation, you will need to talk to Timon on the top floor. He will then direct you to talk to Pumbaa, who will let you open a new storage container whereyou will receive the Dark Pickaxe Upgrade. This will let you clear the rocks andremove the Night Mite Queen. You might have to chase the Queen herself. She is much bigger and faster, but once you have, you will need to finish the last part of the quest.
The Infestation Finale
You will want togo straight to Merlin’s House for this one, where you’re able to show him what Night Mites you have collected. He will then clear the Night Mitesby using an enchantment to purify them. This means Timon and Pumbaa can now eat them.
Merlin will give you aNeutralized Night Mite Buffet, which you can then take anywhere in the Valley. Invite Timon and Pumbaa around, and you can celebrate by taking a photo with them and the feast. Don’t forget to talk to each of them individually one more time. This will ensure that all of the Infestation Quests have been completed, you will receive your rewards, and the Night Mites are no longer a problem inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
