While a collective set of worlds called the “Demon Realm” was never destined to be a paradise,Dragon Ball Daimahas quickly hinted at its dystopian qualities. While Goku has had his challenges blending in as a non-demon visitor, his other fellow travelers share Demon World heritage which would hypothetically make life easier for them. However, in Panzy’s case, her status as a civilian of the Third Demon World is collectively perilous, and Magic Collars mark her people inDragon Ball Daima.
Panzy is a princess as revealed inDragon Ball Daimaepisode #5, as she brings Goku, Shin, and Glorio to King Kadan.Wearable tracking devices have oppressive implications for the Third Demon World,so their locals don’t escape from King Gomah’s forces, the Gendarmerie. Nonetheless, it enhances King Kadan’s cases for rebellion against the would-be Supreme King of the Demon Realm, especially with his kingdom and daughter kept in check.

Panzy’s Magic Collar Shows the Third Demon World’s Dystopian Traits
Won’t Get Far Wearing One of Those
InDragon Ball Daimaepisode #6, as Goku steps away to relieve himself, Glorio, Shin, and Panzy are stopped and inspected by the Gendarmerie. As the troops meet with Goku’s friends, they note the peculiarity of three people from each ofthe three Demon Worldstraveling together. But perhaps most noteworthy, unlike Shin and Glorio,Panzy doesn’t even declare which world she’s frombut simply shows her Magic Collar to them without another word.
Even King Kadan clearly shows his Magic Collar inDragon Ball Daimaepisode #5.

This shows the Third Demon World’s resignation to a tracking system meant to keep tabs on their people. Their travel to other Demon Worlds through the Demon Realm Tunnel is restricted by the light shield built in its place. King Kadan’s kingdom is confined to their homes lest they brave the bandits and the wilderness. InDragon Ball Daima, with the Third Demon World under the bootheel of the Gendarmerie, paying hefty gold fees, and with Goku as a fugitive,it’s increasingly clear why some choose to rebel.
King Kadan’s Coup Against Gomah Makes Sense in Dragon Ball Daima
Hot Under the Collar
With Magic Collars and armed soldiers patrolling the Third Demon World, it makes sense thatKing Kadan would contact Glorio, among others, inDragon Ball Daima.Finding somebody strong enough to defeat Gomah is a deliberate move, and it’s clear he’snot doing it as a mere power play but to prevent a tyrant from harming his people. Developments like these helpproject Kadan in perhaps a more noble, if misunderstood, light.
Dragon Ball Daima and McDonald’s Announce Delicious Collaboration Including All-New Food
Dragon Ball DAIMA is a hit across Crunchyroll and Netflix, but its latest collaboration brings Goku to the dinner tray with Hong Kong’s limited menu.
Regardless, for now, it’s paramount that Goku seize the first Dragon Ball and escape the Third Demon World. The longer Goku remains as an outsider hiding among the locals, the longer Gomah compounds his authoritarian presence in the surrounding regions. InDragon Ball Daima, peace won’t be possible for the Third Demon Worlduntil Goku and his friends wrench Gomah’s First Demon World privileges away.
