What Happened In Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode #13 and 13.5?

Episode #13 Concludes the Battle Between Erza and Laxus

Episode #13 ofFairy Tail: 100 Years Questtakes off with Lucy, Gray, Juvia, and Cana discussing how to deal with Mirajane and Elfman who are fighting Skullion and Madmole. Choosing to let Mirajane take care of Diabolos, the conversation shifts to the White Mage and Touka who Cana reveals is interested in Natsu. Meanwhile, Touka reveals that she first met Natsu and Happy a year ago when the two unknowingly saved her from bandits while on a job quest. As it turns out, Touka mistook Happy’s name for Natsu and was actually looking for Happy all along.Touka is also revealed to be an Exceedlike Happy.

At the same time, Erza continues fighting Laxus in her Lightning Empress Armor. However, Laxus is able to break through the armor with ease. Realizing armor is useless, Erza requips into her Clear Heart Clothing and her Benizakura Blade enchanted with Dragon Slayer Magic. In response,Laxus transforms into his Red Lightning Dragon Modeand continues overpowering Erza, who then uses an Enchantment technique taught to her by Wendy and imbues her signature twin katanas with Natsu’s Fire Dragon Slayer Magic and Gray’s Ice Devil Slayer Magic.

The OST used for Laxus and Erza’s fight is titled “Beyond the Quest” by Yasuharu Takanashi and Noora Louhimo and is now available on Spotify and Apple Music.

Though Erza manages to land a direct attack, Laxus reveals that blood is what makes up the power of Red Lightning and the heated battle between Laxus and Erza continues until the latter is eventually defeated. Laxus passes out alongside Erza shortly after andKiria takes the opportunity to destroy the orb. Sensing that a third orb has been destroyed, the White Mage takes over Touka’s body again and begins the whiteout process on Natsu.

Happy desperately hurls the orb at the White Mage, allowing Natsu and Happy to escape while the White Mage writhes in pain as crystal formations and branches begin to sprout from her body. Happy claims he remembered the White Mage stating that she didn’t have the power to destroy the orbs herself and deduced she must not be able to touch them, which is why she tasked the members of Fairy Tail to destroy them for her.

As for episode #13.5, the special episode titled “Side Story: Lucy’s Diary” recaps the story ofFairy Tail: 100 Years Questso far and teases the exciting fights and battles to come in the second cour of the series.

Big Battles Await Wendy and Natsu

Episode #14 will mark the beginning of the second cour ofFairy Tail: 100 Years Questand is expected to be even more thrilling than the first. As seen in the preview at the end of episode #13.5, the upcoming cour will feature the entry ofnew characters like Selene, the Moon God Dragonwho will be voiced by Nana Mizuki.

The preview also features Wendy using Dragon Force against Nebaru and Natsu fighting Aldoron. Interestingly, Irene Belserion also makes a quick cameo hinting at her powers possibly making a comeback through Wendy. Most importantly, there are still many mysteries surrounding the White Mage with Touka’s fate still hanging on the line that will hopefully be addressed in the episodes to come.
