Fans of classic shōnen series likeFairy TailandNarutomay soon find their worlds colliding in the best possible way in the upcoming anime adaptation of the popular fantasy RPGFarmagia.Based on the game byMarvelous withcharacter designs byFairy Tail’sHiro Mashima,Farmagia’sexciting new animehas finally revealed a release date, trailer, and most importantly, its opening theme artist, which may come as a pleasant surprise for fans ofNaruto.

According to a post on X byMangaMoguraRE,Farmagia’s anime will premiere on August 23, 2025, with an opening theme performed by the popular Japanese rock bandAsian Kung Fu Generation, who is best known for performingNaruto’sbeloved second opening theme"Haruka Kanata". The opening is titled “Life is Beautiful” with snippets of the track included in the latest trailer.

While Asian Kung Fu Generation has been featured in many anime sinceNaruto, “Haruka Kanata” arguably remains the group’s biggest hit to date. The band is known to bring amazing energy to their opening themes every single time and continue to deliver excellent vocals even two decades later, as proven in their recent re-release of “Haruka Kanata.”

BothFairy TailandNarutoalso share the same music composer, Yasuharu Takanashi. However,Farmagia’ssoundtrack will be composed by Shuehei Mustsuki, who is best known for composing the soundtrack forSpyxFamily.

The new opening can be heard at the beginning of the new trailer forFarmagiawhich was shared onMarvelous' YouTube channelearlier today and has been written and composed by Asian Kung Fu Generation’s lead vocalist Masafumi Goto.

Masafumi Goto has also provided an official comment on the new opening theme, explaining the meaning behind the title “LIfe is Beaituful” which reads:

Even in this society and world situation that cannot be described as “beautiful,” we don’t want to give up on those moments when we can feel that “life is beautiful.”

It’s a song of determination that even in tough times, we should never stop hoping for the moments when each of our lives can shine.
