Fortnite Crew August 2024 (Start Date, Price, & Rewards)
Battle Pass Update Comes Prior To Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Releasing August 16
Battle Pass Prices Remain Unchanged
TheFortniteteam is quick to assure fans that Battle Pass prices will remain the same despite this change, at 950 V-Bucks, or $9.50 USD. The update also stresses that while all future Battle Pass items might appear in theFortniteshop, there’s no guarantee of which ones will wind up actually being sold there. From the wording of the update, though, it seems likely that licensed characters and IP content, in particular, will start appearing in the shop in 18 months.
The Chapter 5, Season 4FortniteBattle pass will launch on August 16, and it’s been rumored that the new season will bring Marvel characters back. The last big Marvel update was Chapter 2, Season 4, with a popular pack that broughteight different Marvel superheroes toFortnite, including Thor, Groot, She-Hulk, and more fan favorites. According to rumors, the August Battle Pass might have a new collection of unlockable Marvel skins, potentially including Doctor Doom, Wolverine, and Deadpool.

The timing of the Battle Pass update seems to confirm the rumored Marvel pack. TheFortniteteam specifically singles out IPs and character skins as more likely to make it into the shop. This indicates that players who miss their chance to get the August 2024FortniteBattle Pass might still be able to get superhero skins 18 months from the season’s end. Unfortunately, older Battle Passes are gone for good, so players will never again be able to get their hands on therarestFortniteskins, like the legendary Gold Agent Peely. However, the update suggests that more big names are coming toFortnitein future Battle Passes.
