10 Best Theories About From Season 3
From has created many intricate mysteries, leading to several compelling theories about what is really happening in the Town in season 3.
ScreenRantinterviewed Moreno about the events of theFromseason 3 finale, which features a lot of emotional moments for her character. She reveals if she thinks that Tabitha is going to blame herself for Jim’s death, as well as what her reaction to reading that scene in the script was. Since the interview,Fromwas renewed for season 4, but Moreno’s confidence speaks to the show’s success.

“I remember reading the last few scripts. I’m like, I need to talk to someone. I was beside myself.”
Screen Rant: These last few episodes have been crazy.
Catalina Sandino Moreno: I told everyone at the beginning of the season, you’re going to think that you’re going to have answers, but you’re going to have questions. You’re going to go with us on this journey because it’s great. I remember reading the last few scripts. I’m like, I need to talk to someone. I was beside myself. I’m like, this is not going to happen. How everything happened, but everything makes sense. It does. I was like, wait a minute. What’s happening? She’s been there before. Hold on.
Screen Rant: What was your reaction to the finale script?

Catalina Sandino Moreno: I was excited and nervous. I’m like, why, why does he die, why? Especially that way. And I understand that Julie comes from the future, whatever, but like, he has been a character. Jim has been a character throughout these three seasons and what’s really interesting is the balance between you’re married to this person, and you have conflict. And then you find, between the conflict and that place, you find unity, and you’re connected, and you are hoping for this couple to make amends. And it’s not going to happen. It’s not going to happen.
I thought that now that we know who these people are, Jade and Tabitha, then he would understand that this place is bigger than he thought, and it is beyond his wildest expectations. He’s a very rational character. I love that because it conflicts with her. But now that I thought that they knew what this place is, you’re coming back because you did something, and you need to freaking fix it. Then you’re open about like, okay, I’m going to jump in and help you guys, but he’s not going to have the time to do it.

“We always say that nobody’s actually safe in From, it’s not like you’re doing a TV show, and you’re like, my character is okay. No one’s sitting comfortably.”
Screen Rant: IsFromseason 4 going to be weird for you to go on this journey without Eion Bailey?
Catalina Sandino Moreno: It’s going to. I remember reading the last episode and going back to John Griffin. I’m like, “Is this for real? Is it a nightmare?” Because sometimes something happens, and it is a dream, and it’s so vivid that you think that it’s real. And I believe things can change, but I believed it was real when I read it. It was real that he is done as my husband. It was actually super sad.

He was very shocked because nobody expected that something like that would happen to Jim, especially in the way it did. Nobody expected that Julie was going to come from… It was just a lot. It was a lot. It’s a lot. What a way to end. Oh my, which goes back to the thing that we always say; nobody’s actually safe in From. It’s not like you’re doing a TV show, and you’re like, “My character is okay.” No one’s sitting comfortably. It doesn’t matter.
Catalina Sandino Moreno Is Happy That Jade & Tabitha Have Joined Forces
“Now we know that these two are embarking on this big adventure and I cannot wait to see what’s going to happen in this.”
Screen Rant: What do you hope for Tabitha in the future? Do you think she will have a hard time getting over Jim’s death?
Catalina Sandino Moreno: Well, she lost a child. I don’t know if you’re a mother, but I think that it has to be the worst thing that could ever happen to you. If you’re strong enough and brave enough to keep living without your child, it’s not pleasant, and that pain will never go away. Now that her husband died, I think there is going to be a lot of responsibility for her to take care of her children and even just hold them closer to her. Because she is alone in this crazy world.

I’m glad that she is finally hooking up with Jade to discover things there. Let’s do this. We’re a team. Let’s try to find out how we get out of here. And there are a lot of answers to prior questions. Now we know that these two are embarking on this big adventure and I cannot wait to see what’s going to happen in this. What answers are they going to find together? It’s so sad. I’m so sad.
Screen Rant: It was so brutal. The way he just ripped his throat out.

Catalina Sandino Moreno: Like he’s there, and then I thought he was going to fight something. Then, when he said, your wife shouldn’t have dug in the basement, and then you connect the dots that he’s that voice. And he knew. Then it was brutal. It was brutal. I needed some time after I read the script for episode ten, for gathering. I’m like, I can’t believe this is happening, but it’s brilliant. It’s great TV, I think.
Tabitha Is Probably Going To Blame Herself In From Season 4, At Least A Little Bit
“I think there’s going to be a lot of blaming. There’s going to be a lot of hurt.”
Screen Rant: Do you think Tabitha is going to blame herself at all for this?
Catalina Sandino Moreno: Probably. I think it’s something like, “Why did I survive?” It’s beautiful how they did the finale. They go back to the beginning where they’re in the van, and you’re like, Oh, this couple, maybe now that they know who these people are, that they know the children, they know about the kid that died.
I think there’s going to be a lot of blaming. There’s going to be a lot of hurt. There’s going to be a lot of, I should have, which is very normal to do when something like that happens. I should have stayed. I should have told him. I should have said. I should have… but nothing that you say or do would have prevented it. If he was going to die, he was going to die. But it will be quite interesting to see how they develop that moving forward.
“I really enjoy how people are discovering this show season 3. How they have people that they hate. They have different theories.”
Screen Rant: There has been a great response toFromseason 4. Does it make you more confident in season 4?
Catalina Sandino Moreno: I never assume anything, especially in this business. I’ve been in this business for quite a little time. And I know that when I have that attitude [of], “Oh, we’re going to have it. Oh, yeah. It’s in the bag,” nothing happens.
I usually like to approach TV with, “Let’s hope for the best. And if not, then there’s going to be another thing.” There’s going to be other stories to tell, but I really enjoy how people are discovering this show season 3. How they have people that they like, people that they hate. They have different theories. I think that’s why we do what we do. For people to engage. And I think there’s a lot of people engaging right now, which is awesome.
