The leaker does not describe the nature or the contents of the alleged event, but it does seem like players will not stray away too far from the Nation of Pyro if there is truly an event in Natlan.
Flagship event is a term used to describe the headlining event in a patch, represented by the one with the longest duration and some of the most valuable rewards to claim, such as free weapons, characters, and the largest sum of Primogems inGenshin Impact.

As such, players will have plenty of reasons to stay in Natlan during the patch, even if there are no new Archon Quests.
Furthermore, the two new Natlan characters should also require resources from Natlan to fully Ascend and have their Talents leveled, meaning players that acquire them may see themselves forced to visit the Nation of Pyro consistently throughout the duration of the patch.
