Speaking withThe Hollywood Reporter, Berry speaks on whether a spinoff involving herJohn Wickcharacter would ever happen. According to the actor, she wishes that more would have happened to herJohn Wick: Chapter 3character in the following film, because she “thought that would’ve been a cool storyline.” Despite that not happening, however, the actor hinted that they have “talked about a spinoff with Lionsgate that could potentially happen.” Berry also says that the sequel would need to be done “sooner than later.” Check out the full quote from Berry below:
Yeah, I wish that [storyline] would’ve happened, but that’s not the route they went [inJohn Wick: Chapter 4]. I thought that would’ve been a cool storyline. We talked about it, that’s for sure. We seeded it inJohn Wick: Chapter 3, and we’ve talked about a spinoff with Lionsgate that could potentially happen. We need to do it sooner than later, but that could potentially happen.
