Vandal Savage Wants Gotham’s Vigilantes Gone - Starting with Harley Quinn

Back during “Gotham War”, the immortal villain returned to Gotham City after his powers began to wane. Savage was able to restore his immortality, but his increased lifespan was limited to Gotham’s borders. Stuck in Gotham, Savage decided to make the city his new empire. He befriended a group of wealthy and powerful individuals whotook advantage of the system and had Savage appointed as the city’s police commissioner. Savage offered Batman the chance to keep operating in the city as long as he looked the other way at Savage’s activity, but the Dark Knight vehemently rebuffed the offer.

Savage most likely couldn’t care less about Harley Quinn, but he does have bigger plans to take down the Bat-Family and he sees a kindred spirit in Pulaski. But Savage needs people he knows are going to be loyal, so he put a target on Harley Quinn’s head to see if Pulaski is the kind of person he’s looking for. Sure, Harley can handle herself in dangerous situations, but even if Pulaski fails to kill her, Savage isn’t going to stop until he clears the city of his enemies, and unfortunately, that includes Harley Quinn.

How is Harley Quinn Going to Survive Vandal Savage?

No one may know Savage can’t leave Gotham, but if Harley somehow discovers it, all she’d need to do is get out of the city. It’s not like she’s against living in other parts of the world. Plus Savage would have no incentive to kill her if she’s not in Gotham. Not to mention, Poison Ivy would almost certainly follow Harley wherever she goes. But Harley’s not one to run, so she may choose the hard option and take on Vandal Savage herself. If that’s the case,Harley Quinnmay want to stick close to the Bat-Family for a while.
