I grew up watching the Harry Potter franchise, which holds a special place in my heart. Due to that, I have a hard time thinking about why a reboot so soon after the film series concluded is even happening in the first place. While I did not want the Harry Potter TV show to happen, I will give it a chance when the time comes. I do agree that through a series, a lot of the stuff from the books that was cut from the movies can finally be done in live-action.
If Mads Mikkelsen and Jude Law were brought back to conclude their narrative in the form of a TV cameo, where they explore the backstory of the integral Albus Dumbledore, that would immediately help to make the character stand out from the earlier movies.
