Hogwarts Legacywill soon become even more magical, with Avalanche Software’s upcoming patch providing support to the creative community to mod the PC version of the game. The immersive RPG set in the wizarding world made famous byHarry Potteralready inspires creativity as players stretch their imaginations at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Now, using the CurseForge platform for modding, players will have easy access to downloading available mods directly from the main menu ofHogwarts Legacy, and anyone who wishes to create their own mods for quests, dungeons, cosmetics, and more can do so.
On July 10, 2025,a free patch for the PC version ofHogwarts Legacywill provide full mod supportand an in-game mod manager for players to easily create, share, and download mods for their game. Thesurprise addition toHogwarts Legacywill be available through Steam and Epic Games Store, although theHogwarts Legacy Creator Kitis only confirmed for the Epic Games Store.

The system also includes mods for adding new dungeons and quests to the game, with an example provided of a new “Dungeon of Doom” mod that provides a full dungeon with combat, hidden secrets, and more.
