What The Creep Tapes Means For Horror Fans

Peachfuzz Is Back

Creep’s killer captivated horror audiences upon his debut in 2014, when he gave an interpretive dance to his first victim with his wolf-mask persona, known as Peachfuzz. The Creep Tapesoffers a deeper look into the mind of Josef who, in 2017’sCreep 2, grows dissatisfied with his killings and experiences a midlife crisis of the deranged sort. Picking up with him years later, it will be interesting to see what he has become since his last onscreen appearance.

Why A Creep TV Series Works Better Than A Third Movie

The world of Creep is now expanding with a TV show, and it has the potential to be a lot better than a third movie could have been.

The 6-part horror anthology series gives star Duplass ample opportunity to dig deeper into the mind of a horror villain, whom he refers to as “the world’s deadliest and most socially uncomfortable serial killer” (viaJoBlo). He often shows a twisted sense of intimacy with his victims, making for a fascinating dynamic. Josef will continue to disarm his victims inThe Creep Tapesas a strange, but well-meaning loner who is gradually revealed to be a danger when it’s already far too late to escape. For horror fans, this is an excellent opportunity to spend more time with a compelling and horrifying character.
