Like in allAnimal Crossinggames and most simulation games,Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Completeallows players to gather valuable resources. Resources are typically used to craft with, but they can sometimes be given to villagers as gifts or sold for Bells.
One resource inPocket Camp Completeis cotton. However, cotton doesn’t always come easily to players, andit’s not something that can be found lying around. It’s an uncommon crafting materialused in making furniture, clothing, and tent amenities. Fortunately, there are a few guaranteed ways to obtain cotton.

Where To Get Cotton
Level Up Friendships And Complete Goals
Cotton is valuable in the game, but it’s not amongPocket Camp Complete’s new items and features. The best way to get cotton inAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp Completeis towork on leveling up your friendship with certain villagers, primarily those that are goats, hippos, lions, mice, penguins, and pigs. To increase friendship levels, prioritize completing requests from these villagers.
The most common villagers in those animal categories are Kidd the Goat, Rex the Lion, Maggie the Hippo, Tex the Penguin, Bree the Mouse, and Agnes the Pig. Keep in mind thatthese are just a few of the villagers who give cotton.

If your campsite doesn’t have these villagers, you can swap them out. Just tap the animal icon in the top left to get started.
Befriending villagers and increasing their friendship levels takes time, sodon’t expect to be rich in cotton overnight. Besides working on leveling up friendship levels, there are a few other methods to obtain this uncommon crafting material. One way is tocomplete Stretch Goals, like catching five fish or reaching level three. Doing these Stretch Goals will provide you with 30 cotton each. Sadly, each Stretch Goal can only be completed once, so it’s not the most efficient method of getting cotton. Some login bonuses and timed goals also have the chance to yield cotton.

While it was possible to trade cotton between friends in the previousAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp,Pocket Camp Completelacks the multiplayer functionality required to trade items. This means it’s no longer possible to get cotton from your friends.
The final method to obtain cotton isthrough the Shovelstrike Quarry. Unfortunately, the Quarry doesn’t always give cotton as a reward, but when it does, you’re able to expect to get quite a bit of it. Check the Quarry daily to determine whether cotton is a reward or not.

What Cotton Is Used For & How To Use It
Use Cotton To Improve Your Campsite
Cotton is an easily identifiable resource. It has aunique shape of white bundles in brown twine. It’s one of the resources you’ll need to build tent amenities, which are an important part ofAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. Tent amenities come in different themes and tiers.
Each theme is favored by certain animals, whichhelps level up friendships with those animals. Tent amenities also help increase the maximum friendship level from seven to 70. To upgrade tent amenities, you’ll need quite a bit of cotton. For example, the Cool, Cute, Natural, Sporty, and Rustic Tents allrequire 30 cotton per tier upgrade. The Picnic Set also requires 30 cotton units per tier, and that’s just for tent amenities.

Different themes attract different personality types; Cool attracts Cool villagers, Sporty attracts Jocks, etc. Switch it up by building furniture items from different themes.
Cotton is also used tocraft furniture and clothing. Beds, rugs, sofas, bears, chairs, and tables are just a few of the furniture items that require cotton to make. As for clothing items, cotton is needed to craft things like the Alpinist Dress and Hat, Arctic-Camo Pants and the Shirt, the Black Leather Jacket, and many, many more.

The amount of cotton each item needs varies from six to 75 or more. If you’re someone like me who likes to collect clothing items and dress up, you’ll need plenty of cotton. For fashionistas, you canimport custom designs and create your own.
Since cotton is such a valuable resource and uncommon, with just a few animal types giving it as a reward, it’snot recommended to sell it. If you do choose to sell cotton, it only sells for 10 Bells per unit. In my opinion, selling cotton is a waste, and it should be held onto, especially since you’ll need so much to craft amenities and furniture that help improve your campsite. Both amenities and furniture will attract new kinds of animals to your campsite, which will help you level up your campsite and increase the types of animals visiting.

In addition, using cotton to craft different amenities and furniture willhelp you build a campsite that is uniquely yours. You can build and add items you enjoy, allowing your personality to shine through.
Using cotton inAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp Completeis easy. First, select the Craft option at the bottom of your screen. From there, you can select the different items that require cotton and start making your campsite your own.
