To celebrate the launch of Ranked Reload,Fortniteplayers can now add a free Felina skin and matching Felina’s Claw pickaxe to their Locker. That’s not all, as there are multiple styles that can be unlocked for both the skin and the pickaxe, making them customizable. These rewards will only be around for a limited time, so you’ll need to get them fast!
While there are hundreds of outfits and cosmetics to choose from inFortnite, they’re rarely given out for free. Typically, character skins need to be purchased with V-Bucks or unlocked through thePremium Battle Pass. But to mark the debut of Ranked Reload, as well as the game’s seventh-anniversary celebrations, Epic Games is giving players a chance to unlock the new Felina skin completely for free.
How To Unlock Free Felina Skin & Pickaxe In Fortnite
You’ll Need Plenty Of XP To Reach This Goal
To get your hands on the Felina skin, you’ll first need to log in toFortnitebetween September 24 and July 12, 2025, to become eligible for the rewards, andthen earn 50 Account Levels before July 09, 2025. The Felina’s Claws pickaxe is awarded after earning 25 Account Levels, so by the time you reach 50 Account Levels you’ll have both rewards.
Wondering how to earn Account Levels? The easiest way is to regularly complete all of your Daily Quests, Weekly Quests, and Story Quests to earn lots of XP that willhelp you level up. You can also earn XP by winning standard Battle Royale matches or playing side modes likeFortnite Festival,LEGO Fortnite,Rocket Racing, and certain fan-made Creative maps.
If you want to level up fast, I’d recommendplaying Bed Wars. Not only is it a fun mode, but it also rewards loads of XP and I usually level up at least a couple of times every time I play.
If you haven’t achieved these Account Level goals by Jul 23, 2025, you’ll no longer be able to claim the Felina skin for free (although there’s always a chance it couldappear as a purchasable item in the Shopfurther down the line).

Rank Up To Get Extra Styles & Colors For Felina
Once you’ve unlocked the Felina skin and Felina’s Claw pickaxe, you’ll then be able to unlock extra styles for thembased on your highest rank in Battle Royale, Zero Build, Reload, or Rocket Racing. For example, if you reach Gold rank in any of those Ranked modes, you’ll unlock a Gold style for Felina and Felina’s Claw.
The Best Landing Spots For Fortnite Reload
With challenging duos and squads gameplay and classic weapons, Fortnite Reload also has a smaller, denser island map with many great landing spots.
Although you’ll need to unlock Felina and Felina’s Claw inFortniteby June 24, 2025, there’s no deadline for unlocking these extra styles, so you can take your time ranking up in the months to come. You can also change these styles at any time from the Locker, so if you prefer the classic Felina style, you can always go back to that.
