Episode 6 of the show saw Weasel finding a pack of wolves that gave him the acceptance that he had always been looking for. However,Weasel is still tortured by the memory of the girl he failed to save.As a result, he winds up leaving this wolfpack to go and assist Princess Illana Rostovic, as she reminds him of her. In this, Weasel is attempting to redeem himself for the terrible actions that he blames himself for, even if he did not kill those children.
“Gods And Monsters” Is Set To Tell Complex Stories In The DC Universe
Weasel is a disconnected character with a dark past that the characters around him find to be strange. This is in line with many stories and characters that James Gunn has told in the past, with even figures like Rocket Raccoon and Groot potentially having been seen this way in their pasts.Examining Weasel, a seemingly objectionable and violent figure, and humanizing him, is the perfect choice here,and seeing such a tragic story play out is an excellent setup for the future of the DCU.

Where this leads theCreature Commandosas the first season comes to a close remains to be seen, with the story likely leaving all kinds of seeds for the future of the characters and their universe moving forward.
