Summary
Warning! Spoilers ahead for Green Arrow #14!I knowGreen Arrowhas a lot on his plate right now, but how cool is it that he’s got a base that surpasses the Batcave? Team Arrow has been through some pretty big changes lately, including the development of a new hideout that holds something even Batman would have to praise.
InGreen Arrow #14by Joshua Williamson, Amancay Nahuelpan, and Sean Izaakse, Team Arrow ison Green Arrow’s new base, Arrow Island, and is being warned by Nightwing and Batman to stay put. However, the team opts to leave the island and look for the one person who may be able to stopAmanda Waller’s new Amazos: Professor Ivo.

Arsenal leads the team and reveals that before Oliver ran off, he was building a new Arrow Cave, loaded with gear for the team. Not only that,Green Arrow supplied his family with new and improved Arrowplanes, which they take.
Green Arrow Has a Brand-New Arrow Cave with New Gear
It’s been hard watching Green Arrow go through so much drama. Thankfully, after months and months of being separated across time and space, Oliver and his family finally got a chance to be together for more than just a few seconds. After taking down Queen’s nemesis Merlyn, Team Arrow spent some quality time on the island that Green Arrow was marooned on years ago. Even more surprising, this didn’t seem to be a one-off vacation. Instead,Green Arrow had permanent lodging installed, re-christening the spot as ‘Arrow Island’to serve as his and his family’s brand-new headquarters.
As a Green Arrow fan, I know Oliver is probably never beating the ‘Batman ripoff’ allegations. And yes, the insistence on calling it the ‘Arrow Cave’ isn’t helping. Still, even though this new base is a work in progress, I think it has a lot of potential. It’s got plenty of space for weapon storage and target practice. Not to mention room for at least three new Arrowplanes (makes sense given how big Team Arrow is). I’m still a Batman fan, but I have to admit,Green Arrow finally might be beating the Dark Knight at his own game.

Green Arrow’s New Lair Gives Him One Up on Batman
Ignoring the ‘ripoff’ accusation, one must remember that Batman doesn’t have the Batcave anymore, at least not the one under Wayne Manor. Bruce has moved on and is in the process of making a new home for himself and his family. At the moment, Team Arrow is the only one with a cool cave and we haven’t even seen half of what’s in there. Don’t get me wrong, when it comes to the more iconic location, hands down, it’s Batman’s lair. ButGreen Arrow’snew hideaway proves that he can make a base that’s just as cool as the Batcave.
