Im Si-wan’sSquid Gameseason 2 character’s relationship with Jo Yu-ri’s Kim Jun-hee is one of the most memorable character beats in the Netflix Korean series. While both characters survive the first set of games, it is hard not to believe thatKim Jun-hee’s pregnancy story inSquid Gameseason 2will end with tragedy. To his embarrassment, the guards reveal the truth about his financial situation by showing a video in which he gets slapped by the Salesman during the recruitment ddakji game for a small amount of money.

The video also reveals that Myung-gi was once an accomplished cryptocurrency content creator and ran a popular YouTube channel named “MG Coin.” However,things went downhill when he put all his money into a new coin called “Dalmatian"and even encouraged his followers to do the same. The coin eventually turned out to be a scam when its creators took all the invested money and fled. As a result, Myung-gi and many others, like his girlfriend, Jun-hee, and rapper Thanos, lost millions after investing hefty sums on the coin.
