Characters like Punch-Bot andthe Stormchaser Ionequickly became fan favorites, and their return would be highly welcomed.

Batman: Off-Worldwas easily one of the best Dark Knight-centric mini-series of 2024 and should be on every Batman fan’s must-read list. It offers a classic Year One-style story, but with the unique twist of taking place in space. In addition to its strong narrative, the series introduces a chilling villain duo—the Blakksun Twins—along with Batman adopting a pet Barbed Alpha Wolf, befriending a robot whose sole purpose is to be punched, and embarking on a compelling romance with a Tamaranean love interest. The series also earned an impressive 4.2-star rating on League of Comic Geeks, which highlights how well it was received, especially considering it was Jason Aaron’s first time writingBatman.

Batman’s new barbed alpha wolf may be the only member of the Bat-Family to whom the “No-Kill” rule doesn’t apply, and Red Hood is definitely jealous.
