Everything We Know About The Mandalorian & Grogu Movie

The Mandalorian’s story will continue with a Star Wars movie. Here’s everything we know about the project, including cast, release, and timeline.

Pedro Pascal’s Dialogue Is Only From Previous Mandalorian Seasons

Unfortunately, This Dialogue is Nothing New

The dialogue used inThe Mandalorian & Grogumovie footage montage is, in fact, not new. Rather, these lines come from old seasons ofThe Mandalorian, particularlyThe Mandalorianseason 3. The first lines of dialogue are uttered bythe Armorer, whose “You are a clan of two” and “You are as its father” are taken directly fromThe Mandalorianseason 1 finale. As for Pascal’s Din Djarin, he can be heard uttering"This youngling is my apprentice," “I’m a bounty hunter by trade,” and “Now that he’s with me, I’ll be more selective in my assignments.”

The latter two lines are what viewers have long since been speculating to be brand-new Din Djarin dialogue by Pascal. This, however, is not the case. These lines were uttered in one of the final scenes ofThe Mandalorianseason 3, when Din strikes a deal with New Republic ranger Captain Carson Teva to complete bounty hunting missions as an under-the-table independent contractor that targets theImperial Remnant.

It can be hard to keep track of everything that’s said, especially in a situation where viewers are expecting to hear something new.
