Jujutsu Kaisenis getting an official epilogue to close out its story.Jujutsu Kaisenended earlier this year after a legendary six-year run, and the manga’s final volumes, volumes #29 and #30, are set to be released simultaneously in Japan on Christmas. It’s a faster conclusion than most people expected, but that, of course, doesn’t make it any less exciting.

Jujutsu Kaisenis on the verge of releasing its final volumes, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing left in store for the manga.Jujutsu Kaisenjust had its panel at Jump Festa 2025, and in addition to the reveal ofthe teaser visual forJujutsu Kaisenseason 3, it was revealed thatJujutsu Kaisenvolume #30 will include an extended epilogue to properly close out the story. Everything We Know About Jujutsu Kaisen’s New Epilogue Explained

What To Expect From Jujutsu Kaisen’s Epilogue

Jujutsu Kaisen’s epilogue was only just announced, but there’s already some information that can be gathered about it. In addition to being 16 pages long, it was revealed thatJujutsu Kaisen’s epilogue will focus on Nobara, Panda, Uraume, and Yuko Ozawa. Those four characters are often cited as having gotten the short end of the stick in terms of development and screen time, especially Nobara, so it’s great that the epilogue will try to give them proper closure.

As for what their stories will be about, that’s also easy to theorize. Panda’s story will likely focus on his relationships with Yaga and his siblings; Uraume’s will likely elaborate on their relationship with Sukuna; Yuko’s will likely focus on the brief tease of romance between her and Yuji; and finally,Nobara’s story inJujutsu Kaisen’s epilogue will likely be about her finding her missing mother, as teased in the manga’s final chapters. That would leave many plot points unfinished, but it would still make for a far more complete finale than what was shown inJujutsu Kaisen’s original ending.

Can Jujutsu Kaisen’s Epilogue Have The Same Effect As My Hero Academia’s?

WithJujutsu Kaisengetting an epilogue in its final volume, that invokes yet another similarity between it andMy Hero Academia. My Hero Academia’s final volume included an epiloguethat, while not perfect, did wonders to give the story proper closure, and to many fans, it greatly improved what was originally an incredibly divisive ending. It’s all coincidental, of course, butthe wayMy Hero Academia’s epilogue so strongly reversed public opinion about the ending gives hope thatJujutsu Kaisen’s epilogue can do the same.

Things might not be that easy, of course.Jujutsu Kaisen’s epilogue is only about half as long asMy Hero Academia’s, and with how many plot points need to be resolved inJujutsu Kaisencompared toMy Hero Academia,Jujutsu Kaisen’s epilogue might not be big enough to turn public opinion around in the same way thatMy Hero Academia’s epilogue did. The fact thatJujutsu Kaisenis getting an epilogue at all is still plenty exciting, of course, and hopefully, it will still do a great job of giving the series the kind of ending it deserves.
