Agent Phil Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D., who appeared in the first MCU movie,Iron Man,in 2008. He has become a recurring character in Marvel Comics' main 616 universe since 2011. A more recent example is Layla El-Faouly aka Scarlet Scarab, who made her debut in Marvel Studios’Moon Knight. She has since appeared in Moon Knight comics since 2023, one year after the show premiered on Disney+.

When Echo arrives, she greets Kahhori in her own language, and Kahhori thanks her in turn for her help. Moon Knight made his MCU debut inMoon Knighton Disney+. When Kahhori is pulled into Moon Knight’s Midnight Mission inRehsaper of Worlds#1, Kahhori captures Marc Spector with her powers. Kahhori claims they have a lot in common, but Moon Knight questions her knowledge of the moon. Kahhori explains the moon is her grandmother, and her powers are meant to be invited into your heart, not claimed like Moon Knight does; Moon Knight admires Kahhori’s explanation, and admits he genuinely wants to look into that.

Breakout MCU hero Kahhori makes her Marvel Comics debut, in a story that brings her face to face with Moon Knight’s different personalities.
Kahhori has already started developing connections with characters that exist in the MCU, and even though they’re different variants, it still proves she has a lot in common with multiple characters for different reasons; both culture and powers. Kahhori can bond with Echo over their shared culture, and Moon Knight can further discuss their knowledge of the moon; he must have a lot to share with her as well. Here’s hoping they can team up again in live action, as Kahhori deserves to join the live-actionMarvel Cinematic Universe.
