Although Doom is at his most powerful right now, acting asMarvel’s new Sorcerer Supreme, and having just taken over the world,Storm’s god-level power upgrade still means he’s no match for the mutant goddess. Just afterStorm transforms into the new host of Eternity, Doom says that she must leave Latveria or face his wrath, but quickly backs down when he realizes he’s not equipped for the fight he just started. X-Men’s Storm Is Becoming a Literal Goddess as “The Eternal Storm”
The iconic X-Men legend Storm is finally transforming into a literal goddess, as Eternity claims her as worthy to become the Eternal Storm.
It’s interesting that Storm’s latest brush with Eternity comes as she’s facing off againstthe Fantastic Four’s greatest adversary, since she also held the essence of the entity momentarily during her last appearance on the team inFantastic Four#550,by Dwayne McDuffie and Paul Pelletier. In that issue, only she and Doctor Strange were strong enough to perform the task and save the universe. With this godly feat against Sorcerer Supreme Doom, Storm has once again been proven as one of themost powerful Fantastic Four members of all time, despite her short amount of time on the team.
