Put simply, Wanda is no longer needed in the same way she may have been once prior.
The relationship between Ghost Agatha and Billy that was set up at the end ofAgathacertainly points towards future stories. However,it seems that instead of using that mentor-mentee relationship between Agatha and Wanda, as was done in the comics, this is instead planned to be done with Agatha and Billy. With Billy’s incredible power and a dark and complex relationship with Agatha, the MCU now seems poised to tell stories that may have been a part of the Scarlet Witch’s canon with this new character instead.

It is inevitable that once Tommy is located, more stories concerning the unification of the family will follow. Vision is already set to receive a follow-up series, and if the three of them come together, it seems par for the course that locating Wanda will come next.
While Wanda is dead, death is a force that can be overcome in the MCU.For example, though Agatha finally met her end with a kiss she shared with Rio Vidal, she continues to persist in the MCU as a ghost. Other such details or reasoning could be given to provide additional looks at Wanda in the MCU’s future. While it may now seem less likely that the Scarlet Witch will return in any significant capacity, it has actually become more likely that audiences will see her again in the franchise.
