Ruined Idol is a new in-game achievement for season 1.5 ofMarvel Rivals. The description is rather vague and cryptic, and just says you need to destroy a statue, “When Eternal Night falls on New York.” Thankfully, this can be completed in the new map, Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park. The only downside is it has to be done in Quick Play or Competitive, potentially taking attention away from taking the objective. You also need to be the first of the entire 12-person lobby to snag the achievement before anyone else.
The Central Park map is a huge focus of the first season. Most event missions have an option that only counts while on it or the previous Eternal Night: Midtown. Completing everything will grant thefree Carved Traveler skin for Groot inMarvel Rivals. With that event being so prominent, the Ruined Idol achievement was a bit swept under the rug. Still, it is worth completing for those that want to experience all the content.
Bloodstorm One Location (How To Get Ruined Idol Achievement)
The Placement Is Static, But Directions Depend On The Checkpoint
The Bloodstorm One statute sits in the heart of the defender’s territory in Central Park ofMarvel Rivals. It is slightly out of the way of the final convoy push to fully complete the map. You can go to it at various points during the match, with all options listed below, but it will likely be easier once said check point is the current goal. In most cases, use a fast orstealthy hero that is good at stealing objectives inMarvel Rivals. Note thatchasing after Bloodstorm One and destroying it too early will make it much harder for your team to win.
Defenders
Match Start
Head left through the graveyard and into Dracula’s chapel, then another left towards the final objective
Check Point One
Exit the spawn room, then at the large wooden door head to the right
Check Point Two
Head out the right-side spawn door, then take the door on the right. Keep moving forward to find Bloodstorm One on the right
Attackers
Fully run past Ratatoskr and all enemies towards the chapel, and then take the first left inside
Ignore helping the convoy push and go straight into the chapel, and then go left
From the spawn room, run forward into the cracked wall, take a left into the hall, then strafe slightly left near the large wooden door
Getting The Achievement To Trigger Can Be Annoying
While it is possible to get to the location of Bloodstorm One, earning the Ruined Idol achievement properly can be cumbersome. You cannot do this in a custom game mode or against a standard Practice vs AI match. However, I personally did it while trapped in a mandatory bot match disguised as genuine Quick Play. Sincethese only have four human players, it makes it much easier to break the statue before anyone else.

Destroying Bloodstorm One doesn’t yield a unique reward, but instead grants the same points that already existed since Season 0 ofMarvel Rivals. But, it is still a great alternative for meeting thresholds and getting the best of those prizes. This includes multiple collectibles, the Chrono-Explorer title, and up to 200 Units. That could be the last hurdle to getting an expensive skin for free, like Luna Snow’s K-Pop outfit. Plus, owners of the Luxury Battlepass will be getting lots of free Units once they obtain every standard reward.
