The Vespoid is arecurring monster in theMonster Hunterfranchise. These large, flying wasps can paralyze the player and tend to be incredibly annoying. What’s worse, their materials are sometimes required for end game weapons and armor, and that holds true inMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Players that have reached the end game will end up needing Vespoid parts to do some of the final upgrades for their weapons and armor. Unfortunately, these pesky monsters aren’t easy to find, so players may need a bit of help in that department.

Vespoids can only be found in the later portions ofMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, so players wanting to avoid potential spoilers should turn back now. Vespoid parts aren’t required for much before this point in the game, so players that haven’t reached it yet don’t need to worry about finding and hunting these monsters.

As previously mentioned, Vespoids can’t be found early on in the game, and instead players will have to wait until a major event changes the landscape of Hakolo Island. After this point, the island will be shrouded in darkness, and players will encounter much more powerful monsters in the area.Monster Hunter Stories 2players can find Vespoids in Guardian Ratha Woods after it turns dark, but this is currently the only known place that they spawn. There are two ways that players can go about finding the most of these bugs in order toget the rare materials Vespoids possess.

The first and most simple way is to simply run around the dark Guardian Ratha Woods. There will be plenty of dangerous large monsters, but every now and then the player will come across a group of Vespoids. Players will want to be sure to bring their most powerful Monsties along with them, as this area is not for low leveled teams. Alternatively, Vespoids can alsospawn in Rare Monster Densin this area, so any time the player comes across one, it helps to explore it fully in order to find more. Take these monsters down like any other to get their rewards.

Even for a small monster, Vespoids themselves can pack a punch. Thankfully, players don’t need to do anything extra in order to harest materials from these monsters, a nice quality of life change from their appearance in otherMonster Huntergames. Hopefully players will be able to get all the Vespoid parts they need tomake some nice end game armor inMonster Hunter Stories 2.
