Evidently, Obi-Wan Kenobi actor Ewan McGregor loves this reference just as much as everyone else does, based on this TikTok video posted byfuji_sk8rat. In the video, McGregor can be seen signing a hat for a fan, buthe insists on signing above Anakin Skywalker actor Hayden Christensen’s autograph,“trying to get the high ground on him.”
Although this is a hilarious moment, it also goes to show just how iconicRevenge of the Sith(and the other prequel trilogy movies) has become.

As a massive fan of the prequel trilogy, and especially of McGregor and Christensen, I couldn’t be more delighted that the prequels are finally seen for the iconic movies that they are and are getting the love they always deserved. Christensen has long been heavily criticized for his portrayal of Anakin in the prequels, but the adoration of Christensen and his work in this role has grown considerably—so much so that many are holding their breath to see if he will return once again inAhsokaseason 2.
This announcement may be just around the corner, as Star Wars Celebration 2025 is only a few weeks away, and Christensen is confirmed to be appearing. Whether Christensen and McGregor return once more toStar Warsor not, though, it has been wonderful to see the appreciation for both actors grow.
