The Beldum Community Day Classic event sees the popular Steel/Psychic-type Beldum take center stage once again inPokémon GO, with boosted wild spawns, a featured attack for its final evolution Metagross, and, of course, a higher chance of finding a Shiny Beldum. Alongside all of this, there’s a ticketed Special Research story to work through, with loads of rewards to unlock.
Community Day Classics give Trainers a chance to experience a re-run of an older Community Day star, which is great for newcomers who haven’t managed to evolve the headline Pokémon, as well as veteran players who want tofill out their Shiny Pokédex. The event’s Special Research story provides even more reason to get involved, so here are all the tasks and rewards.

Earn More Encounters With Beldum
There are four steps involved with the Beldum Community Day Classic Special Research story, and each one includes three tasks to complete. If you’ve taken part in a Pokémon GOCommunity Day Special Research storybefore, these will look very familiar, as they always follow a similar format. You can see all of the tasks and rewards in the tables below.

Power up Pokémon 10 times
20 Beldum Candy
For completing this step, you’ll be rewarded with3000 Stardust, a Beldum encounter, and one Incense.
Evolve 3 Beldum
30 Beldum Candy
For completing this step, you’ll be rewarded with4500 XP, a Beldum encounter, and one Egg Incubator.
Evolve a Metang
50 Beldum Candy
For completing this step, you’ll be rewarded with4500 Stardust, a Metang encounter, and one Rocket Radar.
Claim Reward!
2 Silver Pinap Berries
For completing this step, you’ll be rewarded with5500 XP, a Metagross encounter, and three Rare Candies.
How To Get Beldum Community Day Classic Special Research
Purchase It From The Shop
The only way to get access to the Beldum Community Day Classic Special Research story isto purchase a ticket from the in-game shop for $1 (£0.99)or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency. It’s also possible to gift a ticket to a friend, or be gifted one by them, as long as you have a high enough friendship level with them.
During previous Community Day events, it was possible to get a free ticket by checking into a localPokémon GOevent hosted by a Community Ambassador using the Campfire app, but there’s no word of that happening for this event. Remember to fully evolve Beldum during event hours to get a Metagross that knows Meteor Mash.
