Predator vs. Black Panther#1– written by Benjamin Percy, with art by Chris Allen – is the newest installment of Marvel’s series of crossover conflicts betweenMarvel’s mightiest heroesandmembers of the alien race of warrior-hunters, the Yautja.
Previously,a multigenerational conflict with the Wolverinesaw Logan fend off his Yautja assailant over decades. Now, the Yautja will soon return to Earth to claim a new unmatched weapon that will give one brother the advantage over the other: vibranium. This limited series will surely put King T’Challa to the test.

The Predators are a brutally violent, yet honor-bound, society that operates on one primary rule - the strongest survive. In a bid for ownership over one of the galaxy’s star systems, abundant with new and powerful prey, two brothers, leaders of their respective clans, compete for their claim. However, the two alien siblings do not start on equal footing. One brother was born with peak physical strength, the other is smaller and was born without a leg. To the Yautja, such an inherent weakness is seen as a laughable failure from birth.

It centers on the story of T’Challa, the king of Wakanda, a highly advanced African nation hidden from the world. After the death of his father, T’Challa must assume the mantle of Black Panther and protect his nation from threats both internal and external. The franchise is known for its exploration of African culture, themes of leadership, and the responsibilities that come with power. The franchise has expanded with a sequel,Black Panther: Wakanda Forever(2022), which addresses the legacy of T’Challa following the untimely passing of Chadwick Boseman.

While he may be considered weak to his people, the younger brother is approaching this fight as if his life depends on it; granted, it probably does. Wakanda does not easily let go of its vibranium. Unfortunately for King T’Challa, his new opponent looksstronger and wilder than almost any Predatorseen in the franchise’s history. Clad in a terrifyingly unique mask and decorated with his enemies’ bones, the Yautja prince leans into his familial empire’s obsession with boasting the corpses of their enemies. Predator
Predator is an action sci-fi franchise created by Jim and John Thomas, beginning with the original film released in 1987. The franchise follows a warrior alien race known as the Yautja who travel the far reaches of space looking for worthy prey to hunt, constantly bringing them to Earth due to the sheer amount of conflict harbored on it. The series has spun off into comic books and animated features and has even enjoyed several crossover events via film and video games with the Aliens franchise.
