The threequel has been rumored for nearly 20 years, becoming a meme online as many continually look for evidence that it exists. While naysayers are confident thatHalf-Life 3isn’t in development,the rumor mill has once again begun to churn after a voice actor included an unknown Valve project codenamed “White Sands” on their resume.
It’s certainly not much upon which to pin a theory but that didn’t stop theHalf-Lifecommunity from rallying around the discovery. Many insisted that “White Sands” isa reference to White Sands National Park, a conservation in New Mexico.That same state is also where the fictional research base Black Mesa is situated, sparking speculation thatHalf-Life 3is happeningand has already recorded dialogue.
