The sequel would need to focus on a new protagonist, but Weaving’s original heroine could play a role akin to the supporting part that Neve Campbell’s Sidney had inScream 2022. This could turnReady Or Not’s heroine from a memorable heroine into a returning Final Girl in the vein ofHalloween 2018’s Laurie Strode. SinceAzraelproves Weaving is still invested in supernatural horror, I can’t wait forReady Or Not’s follow-up.
