WhenSelling SunsetstarNicole Young spread a rumor that Emma Hernanwas having an affair with a married man, the glitzy reality series became more like that Netflix infidelity thriller,Marcella. All of a sudden, Emma was the femme fatale, trapped in some shadyFatal Attraction-style drama. However, Emma’s not a vengeful “bunny burner.” She says that Nicole knew the affair rumor was false before she talked about it on the show. This wasn’t the only wild clash featured in the series - not by a long shot. These ultra-competitive realtors are always at each other’s throats.

The O Group realtors seem to embrace the “law of the jungle,” rather than laid-back California cool.

Sometimes, ambition brings out the worst in human beings, just like greed does. OnSelling Sunset, power and cold, hard cash are the motors that drive so much rude misconduct. As real estate agents fight for listings and commissions, they step on each other’s toes. Nicole isn’t the only one who has lowered herself to try and topple a rival. Many show villains, includingthe diabolical Christine Quinn, known for her icy “Villanelle fromKilling Eve” vibe, have stirred up trouble to get ahead, or just for sport.

8Emma Hernan Was Accused Of Cheating Twice

She’s Always A Lightning Rod For Controversy

Emma’s a clean-cut presence onSelling Sunset, or she was, until Nicole decided to stop minding her own business. In the process, she became the O Group’s Regina George. Yes, it wasMean Girlstime, and maybe Nicole did it all for clout. For whatever reason, she began to throw mud at the cheery empanada queen, who once qualified for the Olympic Games.Emma didn’t make the Olympic team, but coaches could have selected her if they’d wanted to. Now, she has to defend herself instead of focusing on a life that she clearly loves to live.

Nicole had an inside source who told her that Emma was involved with a married man, or so Nicole claims. Emma says the source knew the rumor just wasn’t true.

That wasn’t the only time that Emma was accused of cheating. Back when Christine was on the show, she said that Emma was sleeping with her boyfriend. Emma denied that too.Christine could barely tolerate Emma, finding it tough to deal with someone she perceived as an evil backstabber. In fact, Christine, who is usually very calm and cool, got extremely heated around Emma.

So, there were two cheating allegations against thisSelling Sunsetcast member, both of which Emma denied. The fact that the same thing was said about her twice is interesting. That doesn’t happen to everyone. Emma will have to work hard to convince the world that her hands are clean. She must loathe Nicole for going so low.

Chrishell Stause can’t stand Nicole, and doesn’t want to film the show with her anymore. She doesn’t want to be around her, considering her a troublemaker and

“snake,”

as perE Online. So, the Emma versus Nicole feud has led to gossip that thepossibly scriptedSelling Sunsetwill end. Since it’s so successful, this is very unlikely, but Nicole may not return. Producers may have to choose between Chrishell and Nicole, and Chrishell is a big star. Of course, all this drama just makes the series more popular. Adding spice to the scandal is Chrishell, who says there are"receipts"that prove Nicole’s a liar.

7Alanna Gold Ruined A Great First Impression

Then, Her Boss Jason Oppenheim Mocked Her

Alanna came in looking like the elegant fashion model that she once was, all decked out in cool pantsuits. She avoided the overly made-up, Crayola-bright andAbsolutely Fabuloustype of vibe that some of the realtors have. She wasn’t a fashion victim. The clothes did not wear her. Some of her castmates, including"non-existent skirt"fan (to borrow a funny phrase fromBridget Jones' Diary) Chelsea Lazkani, always show their money with their style. It’s so LA, but still… Emma’s subtlety gave her a fashion edge over her rivals.

Alanna’s time in the modeling business was time well spent, as experts taught her how to dress and do her makeup. Sometimes, less really is more.

She also seemed like less of a drama queen, which was nice for a change. However, soon enough,Selling Sunset’s Alanna Goldshowed everyone that she was just as bad as the rest, if not worse. In fact, Alanna’s embarrassing Pioneertown mistake is so infamous that Jason, her boss, wore an “I Own Pioneertown” tank top to the gym. He was distancing himself from the faux pas in a lighthearted way.

This clash between Alanna and Jason is a little milder than some feuds detailed in this list. However, there’s definitely a sting to it. Alanna probably hated the fact that her boss wore that shirt.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Alanna acted like a cowgirl queenon the show, giving the impression that she owned the Western town she took the gang to. She does not. It’s been in existence for 78 years. The townspeople were irate when they sawSelling Sunset, and called her out on Instagram. Alanna seemed:

She apologized and they accepted. So, that drama is over, but Alanna may end up holding a grudge against the supervisor who seemed to enjoy making fun of her.

6Chrishell Isn’t Friends With Bre Tiesi Anymore

A Mysterious Lawsuit Triggered A Conflict Between The Two Women

Chrishelltook to Snapchat to talk about her feud with Bre.Chrishell’shad her fair share of feuds, and now, she’s feuding with Bre Tiesi too. This is a recent development. In fact, the drama was sparked afterSelling Sunsetseason 8. Apparently, as per Bre’s Q & A at Snapchat, a lawsuit involving Bre caused their rift. Chrishell, who (it has to be said) seems to enjoy stirring the pot at times, revealed that certain details about the lawsuit made her turn away from Bre.

They are no longer pals.

Right now, the clash is murky - much is to be revealed. However, according to the Snapchat event, Chrishell said:

“I have inside knowledge that was disappointing to learn about certain things.”

This doesn’t sound too good, but it’s extremely vague. Yes, Bre’s tangled with Chelsea Lazkani, who mom-shamed her, but Bre never seemed like the series' primary villain.

Something major happened with Bre, but the details are still hazy. The fallout from whatever drama took place led to Bre being sued by a trio of former employees. Apparently, Chrishell didn’t like what she heard about Bre, in relation to the lawsuit - that’s why she doesn’t want to be around her. This is certainly interesting, if mysterious.

More facts may emerge, but Chrishell versus Bre is definitely an offbeat feud that may turn into a major storyline in the next season.Selling Sunsetseason 9hasn’t formally been renewed, but it probably will be. If that happens, Chrishell may be juggling a few feuds, or at least a couple, provided Nicole returns to cause a ruckus again.

5Chelsea Lazkani Went To War With Jeff Lazkani

Where Happened To Their Love?

Chelseawears the aforementioned"non-existent skirt"in the post above, showing admirable confidence. However, her split with Jeff Lazkani was not easy. There’s still fallout after Jeff was accused of cheating on Chelsea at a Hollywood hotel. Chelsea’s allowed to have her heartbreak. She believed in this man and, since she filed for divorce, it does seem like he betrayed her. However,Chelsea was way too smugbefore her marriage ended.

She was a diva who bragged about her perfect life while mom-shaming Bre for breeding with Nick Cannon.

Now, the feuds that Chelsea has on the show pale in comparison to her personalWar of the Roses- remember that movie? It starred Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner, and it showed a marriage failing spectacularly. Jeff’s accusing Chelsea of domestic abuse. She’s telling the world that she was the one who orchestrated the cheating rumor reveal scene with Bre. Yes, it’s gotten very nasty. This former couple has kids, so maybe they should tone it down.

4Christine Told Off Chrishell For Gossiping About Mary Bonnet’s Relationship

Christine Thought Chrishell Was “Shady & “Crazy”

Selling Sunsetneeds divas. The show would be a real snoozefest without women behaving badly. This is why Christine added so much entertainment value. However, like The Grinch, her heart was often three sizes too small. The black-hearted villain roamed the O Group office like a big cat in the jungle, sizing up her prey. One of her targets was Chrishell, who’d built a good life after years of hardship. Chrishell was pleasant, hardworking and sincere, and Christine did all she could to bring out the beast in this charming beauty.

However, Chrishell’s still around - she doesn’t go down without a fight. Inside that “soap queen” body there is a good brain and some grit. One of Christine’s most outrageous acts was to gossip aboutRomain Bonnet, Mary Fitzgerald’s then-boyfriend. She chatted about that relationship with the always crass Davina Potratz. Davina pumped Christine for information, wanting to know if the handsome Frenchman, who once modeled for Wilhemina in Europe, was a gold digger. Then, Christine let everyone know about that conversation.

Chrishell turned on her for hurting Mary by gossiping about Romain. In terms of how often Christine and Chrishell have clashed, it was just the tip of the iceberg. However, it showed just how different the two women are. Chrishell may be a drama queen like the others, but she can be loyal. Christine is loyal to… Christine. All of that skullduggery got Christine blocked on social media by Chrishell.

3Bre Was Mom-Shamed By Another Mother

Chelsea Lazkani Should Have Kept Her Mouth Shut

It was cringe when one mother went after another onSelling Sunset- could anything be tackier? Not really. Moms should stick together rather than judging each other. That’s why it was actually weird and off-putting when Chelsea took it upon herself to call out Bre for having a baby with someone.

The father of Bre’s baby is Nick Cannon. He has kids with a lot of mothers -in fact, he has 12 children by 6 different mothers.Chelsea doesn’t approve of Nick’s lifestyle. She thinks he’s created"broken homes.“What’s ironic is that Chelsea now has a broken home too, due to her divorce with Jeff.

Bre didn’t enjoy hearing that stuff from Chelsea. It was just so rude. They’re co-workers - her insights on parenting, and how Bre is dropping the ball, are totally inappropriate. It’s none of her business. Chelsea crosses lines sometimes - her husband said she’s violent, Bre thinks she’s obnoxious. In Chelsea’s eyes, her self-righteousness is just confidence. She knows best. The thing is, she doesn’t.

2Jason & Brett Oppenheim “Broke Up” (Brett Left The O Group)

Jason & Brett Co-Founded The Agency

Jason and Brett have a strong sibling rivalry. They love each other but they compete.Brett eventually bailed out on the Oppenheim Group, which he’d co-founded with his identical twin brother, Jason. Jason left in season 3, claiming that it was just a career thing. He pushed the narrative that it wasn’t personal.

Nonetheless, there’s no way one twin could leave the business they shared with another without it being personal. Jason and Brett are tough and savvy guys, and they probably had plenty of fights over the years. Maybe it was just too much togetherness. Brett wanted the freedom to try something new but surely ruffled feathers when he departed.

Jason claims they’re still working together - he says his brother isn’t competing with him. He believes that villain extraordinaire Christine tried to make people believe they were at war. However, the energy the brothers put into trying to make people think they’re fine as siblings and co-workers seems over the top. It’s like they’re trying too hard to prove something, even when the facts tell a different story. There’s a little bit of cognitive dissonance.

It’s likely the brothers do have issues, but love each other. They’ve shown off their sibling rivalry onscreen, and in a Reddit thread started byMia_Magenta, fans found their dynamic a bit twisted. Of course, as twins, they’re going to have a very deep, and almost magical, understanding of one another. However, knowing another person that well can have a downside.

My favorite moment of all the 7th season is BY FAR the little dispute between Jason and Brett! 😂 They are so funny to watch when they don’t agree!!!

I think both had fairly good points! Brett being worried about the colossal amount of $$$ Jason spent on the new office and the time they have to finish work, is totally reasonable. I would have been worried too. And Jason taking risks as the business man he is, and succeeding at the end.

Brett’s reaction about the filthy sidewalk was gold!!!

So, yes, they’re working together, but they’re not completely simpatico. Brett tries to rein his brother in, while Jason probably feels like his vision for his business is rock-solid. Maybe Brett’s the sensible one and Jason’s the risk-taker. For whatever reason, they do seem oddly competitive with one another, especially since they’re clearly very rich already.

1Chrishell Tangled With Jason’s Now-Ex Marie-Lou Nurk

The Younger Woman Thought Chrishell Was Unfriendly

As per theE Newsclip above, via TikTok, Jason’s exes don’t always get along. When Chrishell and Marie-Lou began to argue, Marie-Lou was still dating Jason, but she was insecure. She never really felt safe with him. Her fears about the relationship seemed to worsen when Chrishell was around. Being close to Chrishell actually appeared to trigger Marie-Lou. She became very whiny, complaining to Jason about Chrishell’s unfriendliness. However, Chrishell had never been unkind to the younger woman.

So many clashes have madeSelling Sunsetseasons epic. While they do add a bit of electricity and excitement, some of the cast members should be ashamed of themselves. The way they’ve gossiped, blamed and shamed is nothing to brag about. It’s lowbrow, and even though the show is supposed to be about upscale elegance, the show’s stars aren’t afraid to go very, very low.
