Warning: This article contains SPOILERS for Terrifier 3!
TheTerrifier 2director’s commentary reveals one major detail about the franchise that gives Sienna’s healing inTerrifier 3a much more significant meaning. After the monumental box office and ratings success of Terrifier 3, it’s no surprise that fans are already looking forward toTerrifier 4, which has been unofficially confirmed. However, in order to understand what’s coming in the future, viewers will need to look backward.
WhenTerrifier 2was released on Blu-ray, the disc came with extra content, the most exciting of which was Damien Leone’s director’s commentary. In addition to telling fun anecdotes about the making of the movie,Leone shared multiple details about themajorTerrifiercharactersand lore, revealing details that will undoubtedly come into play inTerrifier 4, which is expected to be the last movie in the franchise.

Sienna’s Healing Abilities In Terrifier 3 Come From Her Immortal Status
Sienna’s Supernatural Powers Don’t Come From Her Sword
Throughout theTerrifier 2director’s commentary, Leone repeatedly references the fact thatSienna and Art are two sides of the same coin, with Art being the evil divine force and Sienna being the good divine force. However, she doesn’t fully reach this point until the end of the movie. Leone says this:
“She does not become this divine super being until she is killed and resurrected, and then she’s on the same playing field as Art. But she’s superior…So, she goes through a more classic, very fantastic resurrection here, and it’s even empowering her more. You can tell she’s getting all the energy that the Divine has to offer.”

This context explains many of the non-human aspects of Sienna inTerrifier 3, such ashow Sienna resists Vicky’s possessionand her recovery from injuries quickly. Initially, the sword seemed to be the answer to the latter question. Sienna’s sword heals any injuries caused by it, butLeone said in theTerrifier 2commentary that the weapon only has two divine abilities:
With this understanding, the sword wouldn’t explain how she recovers so quickly from her otherTerrifier 3injuries. Instead, her healing abilities in the movie likely come from her status as an immortal being, just like Art the Clown. After all, the villain of the Terrifier series can get injured, as Sienna does, but he doesn’t stay that way for very long. He’s still able to function after significant injuries. This is reflected in Sienna when she can use her hands and arm again shortly after Art slices her with a hatchet.

Terrifier 3 Showing Sienna’s Healing Powers Is Important For Terrifier 4
Terrifier 4 Will Most Likely Send Sienna Into The Depths Of Hell
As of theend ofTerrifier 3, Sienna still doesn’t realize the full extent of her powers, looking taken aback as her hands heal. She obviously already knew her past experiences with Art, dying, and the sword, but it’s possible she doubted the veracity of her own memories. With Sienna surviving major injuries and healing inTerrifier 3,it’s possibleTerrifier 4will show her reaching her full potential as the Angel Warrior that her father saw in his visions.
Terrifier 3 Confirms Art The Clown Is A Modern Horror Icon & He’ll Only Get More Popular
The box office phenomenon Terrifier 3 proves just how powerful its starring slasher is in pop culture, and Art’s ceiling has not yet been reached.
This would be perfect timing sinceTerrifier 3teased hell as the next movie’s setting. If the supernatural elements of the franchise are increased through other settings and characters, Sienna needs to come into her own as the supernatural force for good that she is in theTerrifiermovies.
