This Stardew Valley player thought they were having a sweet moment with Krobus, but it turns out that Krobus was just being his Shadow Monster self.

Reddit userComfortable_Big_9097added some more information that was a big surprise for some fans: “You can also move the greenhouse and the shipping bin. Our Take: We Love That There’s A Lore Reason For Moving Buildings

Being Able To Move Buildings Opens Up Many Customization Possibilities

Stardew Valleyis a wonderful game already, and the cozy farm and Pelican Town have so much charm and personality. Being able to move the farmallows players to make each farm completely unique to them and their needs.Moving your own farm makes some sense, since a lot of what’s on the farm is custom-built for the farmer, and can, presumably, be updated and relocated with relative ease (even the old farmhouse).

Moving other characters' houses and changing their paint jobs would make much less sense. In any other game, this wouldn’t matter, and players would simply be allowed to change anything, with no regard for whether it makes sense. InStardew Valley, though, developer ConcernedApe is known for paying attention to every single little detail, making even the most obscure things, like theshelves at the hated JojaMart packed with lore. I love, then, that even being able to move and recolor NPC homes and stores has an in-game explanation inStardew Valley, even if that explanation is “it’s magic!”
