The picture of Eleven that’s used on the missing poster is from when she was apprehended and booked by police inStranger Thingsseason 4 for hitting Angela with a roller skate.The posters also include a note about a reward being offered if Jane Hopper is found, with the area code of the listed phone number (fictionally) being for Hawkins.
Since Eleven was back with the Byers family, Wheeler family, and Jim Hopper in Hawkins duringStranger Thingsseason 4’s final moments, Millie Bobby Brown’s character going “missing” comes as a surprise.It’s possible that she’s not truly “missing” and is instead hiding from the U.S. government, with the poster being made by the military officials who were tracking her down in connection to Hawkins’ murders in season 4.
