Interestingly enough,Cote’s story was a short story originally published on Reddit, as part of the thread “r/nosleep.” The story tells the tale of a person who, as the title would suggest, impersonates a missing girl in an attempt to steal her family’s money, but quickly realizes she has made a terrible mistake.
