Now, following the release of the first two episodes ofTell Me Liesseason 2, showrunner Megan Oppenheimer reveals toThe Hollywood Reporterthatepisode 7 of the new season has a huge twist that she envisages will cause a lot of controversy.She further revealed that the idea immediately divided the writers' room into two after pitching it, but they ultimately decided to include it in the show. There is a twist in episode seven, a decision that Lucy makes. But I think if I get cancelled, it will be because of this. It’s something she does trying to help Pippa and it backfires. And it’s a moment that I came into the room and I pitched it, and it immediately divided the writers room into two. There were people that were like, “We have to do that, that’s great.” And then half of the room was like, “We absolutely cannot do that.” And so I was like: “This conversation is why we have to do it, because it’s so polarizing."
