Helped by an already impressive cast that includes the likes of Cynthia Nixon, Christine Baranski, and Carrie Coon, the current Emmy contender has signed up more award-winning performers ahead of its anticipated return in 2025.
The Hollywood Reporterconfirms thatThe Gilded Ageseason 3 is adding eight new actors. They include Emmy-nominatedThe Night Ofactor Bill Camp, who was recently seen as Raymond in the Apple TV+ legal thrillerPresumed Innocent, in addition to two-time Emmy winner Merritt Wever as the sister of Carrie Coon’s character. Andrea Martin, also a two-time Emmy winner, with a recent role as Sister Andrea in the Paramount+ horror showEvil, will play a medium who can communicate with the dead.

There Are A Lot Of Additions
In addition to Camp, Martin, and Wever, the actors joiningThe Gilded Agecastalsoinclude Leslie Uggams, LisaGay Hamilton, Paul Alexander Nolan, Hattie Morahan, and Jessica Frances Dukes. Uggams is a Tony winner and Emmy nominee, who received acclaim for her role in the seminal miniseriesRoots. She’s also recognized recently for her performance as Blind Al in theDeadpoolmovies, in addition to playing Betty in Prime Video’sFalloutadaptation. She’ll play Mrs. Ernestine Brown, who is part of the elite Black community in Newport.
As for Hamilton, a veteran actor well-known for her role as Rebecca Washington in the legal drama seriesThe Practice, she’ll play Frances Ellen Watkins Harper. A notable Black suffragist, Frances inspires Peggy (Denée Benton) to become involved in the cause. Nolan (Madam Secretary), has the role of a a wealthy New York businessman. Morahan, who recently played Caroline in the Netflix breakout hitFool Me Once, will appear as the sister of Ben Lamb’s character. Dukes, known for playing Maya Miller onOzark, will play the cousin of Audra McDonald’s character.
