There are only a handful of characters inThe White Lotusseason 3 that absolutely deserve to survive the inevitable shooting that was teased in the first episode. Between theRatliff family’s weird sexual tensionand the emergence of thedespicable crook Greg, there aren’t too many characters inThe White Lotusseason 3 worth rooting for. Jaclyn Lemon and her friends are setting themselves up for a major fallout while Belinda, the most grounded character in the entire series, may be getting too close to thetruth about Tanya’s death.
Meanwhile, lurking in the background are two White Lotus Thai Resort staff members – the security guard Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong), and his alluring crush, Mook (Lalisa Manobal). They haven’t had too much of an impact on the main season 4 narrative throughout the first four episodes, which means that they could become more involved in major, even tragic, ways soon. There’s also thegenuine and innocent Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) who may get caught in the crossfireof her boyfriendRick Hatchett’s revenge plot.
I Really Hope Chelsea, Gaitok & Mook Are All Fine In The White Lotus
They’re By Far The Most Likable & Innocent Characters In Season 3
It would be most tragic if either Chelsea, Mook, or Gaitok ended up dying inThe White Lotusseason 3.Chelsea is genuinely nice and the only one who is seemingly having a true vacationwithout any other agenda or rudeness, while Gaitok and Mook’s relationship is very cute and both seem like really decent people. As the most innocent characters inThe White Lotusseason 3, it would be the most devastating if one or more of them were killed, which actually makes it more likely to happen.
The “nice” characters in murder mysteries are often used as sympathy bait to strike an emotional chord in audiences. While previous seasons ofThe White Lotushave typically killed off characters with selfish and even detestable personal traits, the series has also killed fan-favorite characters, most notably Tanya McQuoid. Keeping Greg – the most abhorrent ofThe White Lotusseason 3’s characters – alive whilekilling off good-natured people like Chelsea or Gaitok is completely within the realm of possibilityfor a show like this.
I Really Hope Mook Isn’t Manipulating Gaitok

Gaitok has great intentions but is clearly belittled in various ways by The White Lotus Thai staff, evenFabian and Sritala, who seem to view him as weak or unserious. Because he may be easy to take advantage of, he could end up getting mixed up in some sort of shady or dangerous business that may have something to do with the robbery fromThe White Lotus season 3,episode 2.
