PerThe Hollywood Reporter,Olyphant has been tapped to co-star in a remake of 2021’sThe Tripwith Jason Segel, Samara Weaving, and Juliette Lewis. Originally dubbedI Onde Dager, the original Norwegian film starred Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo)and Aksel Hennie (The Cloverfield Paradox) as a dysfunctional couple who travel to a remote cabin each with plans to kill the other. Directed by Jorma Taccone (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping), Segel and Weaving are set to assume the roles once played by Rapace and Hennie.
Other cast additions include Paul Guilfoyle and Keith Jardine, with production already underway in Finland. Boasting 83% Fresh critical and audience ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, the 2021 version ofThe Tripis currently available on Netflix.
