Victoriousstar Victoria Justice comments on a possible revival of the hit Nickelodeon show 11 years after it came to an end. Premiering in 2010 and created by thecontroversial Dan Schneider,Victoriousfollows Justice’s Tori Vega, an aspiring singer, as she navigates the trials and tribulations that come with being a teenager at Hollywood Arts high school. The show was ultimately cancelled in 2013, with Justice going on to star in projects likeThe Outcasts(2017),Trust(2021), andA Perfect Pairing(2021).
During a recent interview withComicBook.com, Justice is asked whether aVictoriousrevival could be on the cards. The star makes clear that nothing is officially in the works, but does express interest in returning. “I would, totally,” Justice said when asked about her willingness to reprise her role, “I think I would be open.”
The actor goes on to say, however, that she does wonder ifVictoriousis best left in the past, but generally, she seems enthusiastic about the idea. Check out her comment below:
“I mean, there’s a part of me that’s like, just let a good thing be a good thing. You don’t always have to reopen that can of worms. Maybe just like let it be nostalgic and be what it was, but at the same time, it could be fun, you know? So I could be down.
“It would be really fun to work with everyone again. It would be like such a wildly nostalgic experience for me. I think we’d have a good time. You never know!”

Should The Nickelodeon Show Stay In The Past?
While theiCarlysequel show was generally very well-received critically, theZoey 102moviewas not. There’s always a risk that, in reviving a beloved title, the original show’s memory gets tarnished.Victoriousmay not have been the most acclaimed or most watched Nickelodeon show, but it was relatively popular. Especially now, when it’s easy for older shows to seem better than they actually were, aVictoriousrevival has the potential to be disappointing.
That being said, with Justice seemingly willing to return, aVictoriousrevival already has one key ingredient. Catching up with Tori more than a decade later could be an interesting exercise. It remains to be seen whetherVictoriouswill actually return, but, Justice, for her part, isn’t against continuing Tori’s story.
