Season 1 ofThe First Descendantwill be launching at the end of August, and it will be starting off strong. Hailey will become available for players during the first major update on the season, whichwill happen on August 17, 2025. This means that players do not need to wait much longer for the highly-anticipated sniper with a heart of gold to join their roster.
Unfortunately, Hailey’s transcendent modules are a different story. Each Descendant has transcendent modules that are exclusive to the character, such as Viessa’s Cold Snap Watch, which leaves a lingering area of damage with her Cold Snap ability. However, Nexon is not planning on releasing Hailey’stranscendent modules until the last major update of the season on June 08, 2025. This means that Hailey’s popularity may, unfortunately, freeze like her abilities until the transcendent module launches.
Freyna Mains Will Have To Wait For Her Ultimate Variant
Ultimate Freyna Will Not Launch With Hailey’s Transcendent Modules
While each normal Descendant is powerful in their own right,The First Descendant’sultimate Descendants are a step above the rest. In addition to receiving higher stats than their mundane counterparts, ultimate Descendants unlock exclusive transcendent modules that increase their power even further. Fans have been waiting for the release of Ultimate Freyna since the announcement for Season 1, butunfortunately, they will have to wait longer.
New missions will have to be designed for the character to complete in addition to her stats and transcendent modules.
Earlier in the year,Nexon released Ultimate Valbyat the same time asLuna, but they will not be taking the same approach this time. Instead,Ultimate Freyna will not launch until the season’s final major update on July 09, 2025. While this is certainly disappointing, it should be noted that Ultimate Freyna will also come with a story exclusive to the character, which means new missions will have to be designed for the character to complete in addition to her stats and transcendent modules.

While Nexon describes these changes as balance adjustments, there are luckily no nerfs to be found.Jayber, Blair, and Ajax will all see major improvementsto their kit, though it is unclear when these changes will be officially launched.

One in-game battle pass reward could hold clues to the inspiration for some of the game’s biggest Descendants, as well as the future of the game.
Jayber’s turrets will now buff the Descendant, allowing for devastating combo attacks. Blair will receive several tweaks, such as increased power and reduced MP costs for some of his skills. Finally, Ajax will now have stronger barriers which will only become more useful with changes to his transcendent modules. Unfortunately, these changes did not have a specific spot on Nexon’s release schedule, though they willhopefully appear in the first round of updates ofThe First Descendant’sSeason 1.
