As Captain Picard and Data are initially investigating the missile silo housingZephram Cochrane’s warp ship, the Phoenix, they encounter Lily Sloane. Picard has Sloane transported to the Enterprise after she becomes affected by radiation poisoning. Once her condition is treated, however, Sloane escapes into the bowels of the Enterprise, which is currently overrun by Borg drones. The frightened Sloane eventually runs into Picard, who convinces her that he can be trusted.Picard and Sloane then work together to take back the Enterprise from the Borg, and Sloane later calls out Picard for his reluctance to sacrifice the Enterprise.
