Director Jonathan Frakes' hit film follows Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and the USS Enterprise-E as they travel back in time to prevent the Borg from rewriting history. Upon arriving in 2063, the Enterprise crew encounters Zefram Cochrane (James Cromwell), the creator of warp drive, on the eve of his historic flight that led to humanity’s First Contact with the Vulcans.
While Commander William Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton), and Counselor Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis) work with Zefram Cochrane on Earth, Captain Picard and the rest of the crew fight off Borg drones aboard the Enterprise. The Borg manage to capture Lt. Commander Data (Brent Spiner), and theBorg Queen (Alice Krige)attempts to seduce him to gain information about the Enterprise. In the end, Picard and Data thwart the Borg Queen, the Phoenix launches as scheduled, and the Vulcans make First Contact with humanity. ButPicard had a lot of help from Lily Sloane.

As Captain Picard and Data are initially investigating the missile silo housingZephram Cochrane’s warp ship, the Phoenix, they encounter Lily Sloane. Picard has Sloane transported to the Enterprise after she becomes affected by radiation poisoning. Once her condition is treated, however, Sloane escapes into the bowels of the Enterprise, which is currently overrun by Borg drones. The frightened Sloane eventually runs into Picard, who convinces her that he can be trusted.Picard and Sloane then work together to take back the Enterprise from the Borg, and Sloane later calls out Picard for his reluctance to sacrifice the Enterprise.

In “Fissure Quest,” a Section 31 Defiant Class starship led by Captain William Boimler (Jack Quaid) discovers the cause of these dangerous rifts in spacetime.Boimler and his crew encounter an alternate universe version of Lily Sloanein command of a ship called the Beagle that can travel the multiverse using a Quantum Reality Drive.
