The Company Is Keeping In Their Comfort Zone While Pushing The Envelope
Win or Loseis not technically the first time that Pixar has dabbled in television. In addition to their previous collaborations with Disney+ branded short films,they co-produced the spinoff showBuzz Lightyear of Star Command, which ran for one season between 2000 and 2001. The two-dimensional spinoff from theToy Storymovieswas produced by Walt Disney Television Animation, and is thus not widely considered to be part of the Pixar canon proper.

Thus,Win or Loseis going to be Pixar’s calling card for televisiongoing forward.
