One of the most popular modes within the WWE 2K series has always been MyGM, and it returns once again inWWE 2K25. While the series features a variety of modes,MyGM allows you to take over from current General ManagersAdam Pearce and Nick Aldis. You can schedule matches, create rivalries, and build PLEs as you look to secure higher ratings than other promotions. It is a tried and tested formula that has been pushed further in recent years since its return to the series inWWE 2K22.
Last year, additional match formats were introduced, allowing players to choose from many more options when scheduling events, but many features that were in place in other modes remained missing. While not all details have been revealed about MyGM inWWE 2K25,several features have been announced.This is alongside the newIsland Mode forWWE 2K25, which has been built as the biggest change for the series. Here are the changes and new features that have so far been confirmed.
MyGM Now Has Online Multiplayer
Take On Your Friends' Brands Online
The most significant change for this year’s MyGM mode inWWE 2K25is the confirmation that you can take on friends and AI opponents online.“In the enhanced MyGM for WWE 2K25, now with online multiplayer for up to four players,“as detailed by2Kon its official website.
Previously, the mode has allowed you to take on up to three other General Managers, either as AI controlled or friends via local play, but this year you can take your rivalries online. There hasn’t yet been confirmation of how this will work or if it can only be played against other friends, butonline MyGM will be available.Unfortunately, it has been confirmed thatWWE 2K25will not be on Xbox Game Passfrom day one.

From the promotional footage released so far, it isn’t clear if this will work in a turn-based manner with all players preparing shows at the same time or whether players will do this one after another in order.It also hasn’t been confirmed how online MyGMs with AI will differ from the standard offline mode. However, it is a big change and could really open the door for players wanting to come back and do further seasons in the mode after they have exhausted the offline options.
A Bigger Selection GMs & PLEs

2K has also provided notable additional information about the MyGM mode, including " abigger selection of General Managers, cross-brand PLEs, and more.“The GMs you may choose from for yourself and any AI-opposing brands in the MyGM mode have grown year after year.
Every GM you can pick from has its own special ability, which can be used once per season.
The trailer video that has been released shows screenshots showing the different GMs that you can use inWWE 2K25’sMYGM mode.It shows 18 different options, with many favorites returning from previous years, such as Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley. Additionally, a host of new GMs can be seen, including Smackdown’s Nick Aldis, along with NXT’s Shawn Michaels and Ava Raine. There are some historical GMs, such as Eric Bischoff and Teddy Long, as well as some surprises, including CM Punk.
Cross-brand PLEs are also confirmed, but we await further information on what this will include. However, it could mean the biggest spectacles of the year, such as the Royal Rumble, Summerslam, and Wrestlemania, feature fewer slots to book per brand to mimic the real-life PLEs.

Drafting your perfect roster is one of the most significant parts of MyGM in theWWE 2Kseries. This has once again been confirmed as part of the features forWWE 2K25.“Draft WWE Superstars and Legends to your weekly show’s roster.“It has been confirmed that over300 superstars will be playable inWWE 2K25.However, many of these are different skins of stars, and not all are guaranteed to be available in MyGM.
In addition, Legends will once again be able to be added to your roster. In previous years, these were not able to be drafted and insteadhad to be added after starting from the separate Legends tab, but it hasn’t been confirmed if this will still be the case.
Legends can be game changes in a MyGM season, as they are brought in with high popularity, so it will be interesting to see who is added as an additional option forWWE 2K25.MyGM looks set to bring many changes and new features toWWE 2K25, headlined by the addition of online play in the mode.
